7 Tips for Living Through a Home Renovation

2. Select a Designated “Calm Space”

If you are planning major interior renovations you’ll want to appoint a portion of your property as a “do not disturb zone”. This is where you can place fragile household items, special pieces of furniture, or the family computer— anything that you will need access to or that you want to protect while the renovation is ongoing. This area can also function as a place to unwind and savor some personal time.
